Discipline in St. Charles
St. Charles is known for its discipline. School Discipline relates to the actions taken by a teacher or the school towards a student (or group of students) when the student’s behavior disrupts the ongoing educational activity or breaks a rule created by the school. The school authorities have set up measures that incorporate disciple into the lives of students. The staff have been taught how to diligently talk to and approach students in order to enforce discipline into them. Both the staff and students are encouraged to build teacher-students relationships in order to promote a healthy teaching and learning environment.
Rules and regulations have been set up with their corresponding punishments in case they are broken. The students are given manifestos and are carefully guided through it by staff so they understand the working environment of the school. The aim of discipline is to set limits, restricting certain behaviors or attitudes that are seen as harmful or against school policies, educational norms, school traditions, etc. Parents are involved in this process which has improved the rate at with discipline is rising in St. Charles.
